Peer Mentors provide yearlong mentoring to facilitate connections for incoming 章鱼体育直播students through regular communication including weekly meet ups in the first 8 weeks of the Fall semester. Peer Mentors help provide a collaborative and welcoming environment for students that aid in their transition to Lamar University. Professional Mentors, together with Peer Mentors, provide a collaborative and welcoming environment to facilitate connections for incoming students that aid in their transition to Lamar University.   • Meet weekly with C.C. student group, delivering prescribed content.
  • Include assigned peer mentor in group activities, sharing plans in advance.
  • Provide individual and group mentoring as needed.
  • Attend training and program meetings, record attendance, complete paperwork, and share relevant information about Lamar University.
